No pain = no gain False This is most definitely not true. A far more appropriate saying with regard to exercise would be ‘Train, Don’t Drain’. At Take Shape we are only interested in smart training that is also enjoyable for the client - I don’t know many that enjoy pain! Your body becomes stronger when it is resting and exercise is merely the stimulus for this to occur. However, if the exercise is too stressful on the body, immune function will be impaired, digestion is affected and it becomes very difficult for the body to enter a growth and repair phase. |
